The Northwest Independent School District serves Aurora Vista. Distinguished by its involved parents and students and its strategic alliance with the Intel Corporation, the school district encompasses 232 square miles within Denton, Tarrant and Wise counties. Although the communities it serves vary demographically and geographically, all residents share a common desire for quality education. Parent-Teacher Associations, Partnerships in Education and volunteer programs are strong and active at each campus. In addition, individual school and district-wide action committees, made up of concerned parents, community leaders and school staff, further enhance the educational interests of the district’s students.
